Our Hojicha is a Japanese medium-roasted green tea powder, celebrated for its warm, nutty aroma and smooth, comforting flavour. Roasted from carefully selected first-harvest 2026 tea leaves, it's naturally low in bitterness and ideal for hot or iced hojicha lattes, as well as gourmet baking and desserts.

Ideal as a caffeine-gentler alternative to matcha or coffee - perfect for afternoon consumption, dessert pairings, or customers seeking a warm, roasted flavour profile.

Suggested Recipe (Hot or Iced)

Ingredients:

• 4g hojicha powder (approx. 2 tsp)

• 30ml hot water (max 80°C)

• 200ml milk of choice

• Sweetener optional (honey or maple)

Method:

Add hojicha powder to a bowl.

Add hot water and whisk until smooth and clump-free (bamboo or electric whisk).

Heat milk (or use chilled milk and ice for iced drinks).

Pour hojicha into milk and sweeten if desired.
