Our Story
Wholefoods was founded in 1989 by Scott Kinnear, after he found it impossible to buy all of his organic grocery shopping at one shop. While there were a few organic stores scattered throughout Melbourne, none had everything he needed for his young family.
So, Scott decided to open a one-stop-organic-grocery-shop where customers could do all their weekly shopping in a single shop.
