150g butter, softened
½ cup raw sugar
½ tsp vanilla essence
3 eggs
1 cup wholemeal plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
Zest 1 orange
1 pear, peeled, cored and diced
100g Choconat bittersweet chocolate, chopped
¾ cup walnuts, roughly chopped
Preheat oven to 180C.
Grease and line 22 x 11 cm loaf pan.
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence until light and fluffy, add eggs one at a time, and beat until combined.
Stir in sifted flour and baking powder.
Fold in zest, pear, chocolate and walnuts.
