Sadly we say goodbye at the end of February to our Brunswick Store Manager and Group Manager Aleesha. She started at Flemington then took over at Brunswick and for the last year has supervised all our stores as well as Brunswick. She has been simply amazing and responsible for choosing and leading an amazing team of staff we are most grateful for. Aleesha's passion for good food, nutrition and a great customer experience has seen our sales steadily climbing since she has been leading. Vanessa and I are going to miss her enormously and are hugely grateful for her integrity and commitment to Organic Wholefoods.
Our Fitzroy Store is also looking for a Store Manager because our legendary Jeri goes back to weekends at the end of February to get back into music study!
About Our Store Manager Positions
You must be dynamic, a passionate food lover, be knowledgeable about nutrition and wellness and an inspirational team leader. You will have plenty of retail experience either as a manager or supervisor leading a team, and be responsible for ordering and delivering a great customer experience. You must be fit and active, fast paced and thrive in a busy retail environment. You will enjoy leading a great team and collaborate well with the other store managers and have a strong eye for attention to detail.
Our Brunswick store has a part time team of 8 staff and our Fitzroy store a team of 7.
The positions are salaried at a minimum of 38 hours per week. We pay above award which compensates for over time and one Sat and one Sun shift per month to keep in touch with weekend staff.
Brunswick Store responsibilities include: staff selection, training & supervision, ordering, rostering, selection of new products & products to phase out, store cleanliness & tidiness, customer experience on the telephone and in store, customer orders, stock receival & merchandising, supervision of website orders & pre-packing room.
Fitzroy Store responsibilities include: staff selection, training & supervision, ordering, rostering, selection of new products & products to phase out, store cleanliness & tidiness, customer experience on the telephone and in store, customer orders, stock receival & merchandising & window displays.
There is scope for the right person to move up to being Group Manager responsible for all three stores. Our Brunswick Manager currently has this added responsibility.
